Sensics Releases Its Location-based VR Headsets

Location-Based VR company Sensics has released its enterprise-facing VR headsets. The headsets are specifically tailored for public, location-based VR experiences in places such as arcades, theme parks, or theaters.

They feature a very high resolution of 1440×1600@90 Hz LCD displays, a 70 percent increase in pixels over consumer devices like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

The headsets were built to be hygienic with a machine-washable, hypoallergenic face mask and fans to keep users from sweating and compatible with various types of tracking systems.

The units retail for a whopping $2,590.

Sensics manufactures high-performance location-based open source VR products that make virtual reality feasible for customers.
